OREANDA-NEWS. In January-September 2006 the Russian Federation has increased coal mining by 4,1 % - up to 223 million tons in comparison with the similar period of the last year.

According to the Federal service of state statistics, the coal mining of the Russian Federation in September of this year was 1,4 % less than mining in September 2005 and by 4,4 % more than production in August 2006.
