In September of this year, the Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works (MMK) produced 136,8 thousand tons of ready ore, 900,5 thousand tons of agglomerate, 459,7 thousand tons of coke, 819,4 thousand tons of pig-iron. The melt of steel for the last month has made 1 million 91,3 thousand tons, manufacture of rolled products - 1 million 5,6 thousand tons. Output of commodity metal products in September made 1 million 0,2 thousand tons. At the same time, for the second month successively output of commodity metal products at the enterprise exceeds parameter of 1 million tons.

According to the information and public relations department of OJSC "ММК", the share of export in structure of shipment of production of OJSC "ММК" in September has made 45,5 %.

In total, for nine months of this year Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works made 1 million 65,1 thousand tons of ready ore (92,4 % against parameter of the same period of 2005), 8 million 238,3 thousand tons of agglomerate (109,7 %), 4 million 193,8 thousand tons of coke (101,6 %), 7 million 427,2 thousand tons of pig-iron (104,8 %), 9 million 187,2 thousand tons of steel (109,5 %) and 8 million 482,5 thousand tons of rolled products (111.1%). Manufacture of commodity metal products for nine months of 2006 has made 8 million 351,9 thousand tons (111,5 %).

The export share in shipment of metal products of OJSC “ММК” for nine months of 2006 has made 46,9 % (50,7 % against the similar period of the last year). On parameters of production ММК still advances others metal works of the country.
