OREANDA-NEWS. In September 2006, metallurgical complex "Azovstal" (Mariupol, Donetsk region) has reduced manufacture in the comparable prices by 6,3 %, or by UAH 69,850 million to UAH 1 billion 32,240 million in comparison with August.

According to "Ukrainian news", in August metallurgical complex "Azovstal" increased manufacture in the comparable prices by 3,9 %, or by UAH 40,879 million up to UAH 1 billion 102,090 million in comparison with July.

The open joint-stock company "Azovstal" has finished year 2005 with the net profit of UAH 1,161 billion. The net profit has increased by 13,8 %, or by UAH 1,499 billion - up to UAH 12,388 billion in comparison with 2004.

In 2005, "Azovstal" increased manufacture of pig-iron by 3,1 % - up to 4,944 million tons in comparison with 2004, manufacture of steel - by 2,5 % up to 5,758 million tons, having reduced production of rolled steel by 14,5 % to 5,303 million tons.
