OREANDA-NEWS. In August 2006, export of flat rolled products by Ukraine reduced by 2,1 %, or by 15,91 thousand tons to 746,75 thousand tons in comparison with July.

According to “Ukrainian news”, receipts from export of flat rolled products have increased by 6,5 %, or by $24,31 million - up to $397,59 million.

Export of hot-rolled flat rolled products reduced by 9,7 %, or by 60,52 thousand tons to 564,91 thousand tons. Export of cold-rolled flat rolled products decreased by 12,8 %, or by 12,15 thousand tons to 82,89 thousand tons. Export of other flat rolled products has increased by 134,5 %, or by 56,76 thousand tons - up to 98,95 thousand tons.

In comparison with August 2005, export of flat rolled products in August 2006 increased by 1,3 %, or by 9,66 thousand tons.

In January-August 2006, export of flat rolled products reduced by 4,5 %, or by 288,01 thousand tons in comparison with January-August 2005 and has made 6 million 72,06 thousand tons to the amount of $2 billion 660,40 million.

In July, export of flat rolled products reduced by 1,6 %, or by 12,71 thousand tons to 762,66 thousand tons in comparison with June.

In 2005, export of flat rolled products increased by 2,7 %, or by 255,52 thousand tons in comparison with 2004 and has made 9 million 592,80 thousand tons to the amount of $4 billion 479,48 million.
