OREANDA-NEWS. Construction of a plant for thermal processing of pipes started at SPP’s tube-drawing mill N3. SPP belongs to the Pipe Metallurgical Company group.

According to the PMC press service, the equipment for thermal processing of gas and oil pipes will be supplied by Italy’s Olivotto Ferre. Transport mechanisms for the facility will be supplied by the ЭЗТМ company, Elektrostal.

The new mill is scheduled for completion in 2007. The new mill will make it possible to raise pipe production by 200,000 tons annually.
