OREANDA-NEWS  Uzbekistan supports Russia's initiative to hold the Intervision song contest for the CIS countries, Uzbek Prime Minister Abdullah Aripov said on Monday.

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, speaking at a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of government on Monday, said that the first "Inter-vision" is planned to be held in 2024 in Russia. According to him, together with the partners, the rules of the competition will be determined, a permanent organizing committee will be formed and national juries will be selected.

"We support the initiative of the Russian partners to hold the international competition of the popular song "Intervision", - said Aripov at a meeting of the council.
