OREANDA-NEWS. Today, January 14, was released the sequel to the movie «Wonder Woman: 1984». The premiere was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The film was directed by Patty Jenkins, who was involved in the production of the first part of the «Wonder Woman». The main role was played by Israeli actress Gal Gadot.

Known, that the plot of the sequel «Wonder Woman» will tell the story of Diana Prince, who lives in the world of people. Successful entrepreneur Maxwell Lord, who is engaged in the search for magical things, asks her for protection from the archaeologist Barbara. In the course of working together, one of the founded artifacts turns her into a Cheetah. As payment for his help, Maxwell offers to resurrect Wonder Woman's friend Trevor.

The events of the film will develop in the mid-80s of the last century. According to critics, the year is not accidentally indicated in the title of the film. Before us is a dystopia, in which there was a place for Big Brother, who watches us from TV screens. The action was also moved to the US capital not by chance: it will bring the main character to the Oval Office.
