OREANDA-NEWS  It became known why Ukrainian singer Vera Brezhneva and producer Konstantin Meladze decided to divorce. This is reported by Komsomolskaya Pravda.

According to media manager Alyona Krasnaya, the couple broke up due to disagreements about the political situation.

"They say Vera wanted Kostya to make an open statement of support for Ukraine. But he refused, because in Russia he has a production center and a lot of real estate. Therefore, they had a disagreement with Vera, they separated. Now Kostya lives in Italy, Vera lives in the Baltic States," the producer said.

Krasnaya also added that Meladze had to disband the VIA Gra group, on which he earned 150 thousand euros for one corporate event. After Brezhnev publicly spoke out against the special military operation in Ukraine (SVO), the team stopped ordering private performances: "And the girls didn't have any box-office concerts."

The producer also said that 350 million rubles from the sale of the mansion of Brezhneva and Meladze, located in an elite area of the Moscow region, the couple divided equally, since it was bought during marriage.

Earlier, Vera Brezhneva spoke for the first time about her divorce from the composer and producer.
