OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Culture of Russia has approved a list of priority topics for state support of film production for 2023. This is stated in the press release of the ministry, received by RBC. The procedure and conditions for conducting competitive selections will be announced at the end of 2022.

Some priority topics, as noted in the press service of the Ministry of Culture, are set for the execution of a number of decrees of the President of Russia, including "On the approval of the foundations of state policy for the preservation and strengthening of traditional Russian spiritual and moral values", "On the announcement in the Russian Federation of the Decade of Childhood", "On the announcement in the Russian Federation of the Decade of Science and technologies" and "On holding the Year of Teacher and Mentor in the Russian Federation".

Next year, the Ministry of Culture will also support films about family and children, Russian science, "stories of strong personalities of modern Russia" and the development of the Far East and the Arctic. In addition, the list of priority topics included "motivation of young people to master working and engineering specialties" and "spiritual, moral, patriotic education of Russian citizens".
