OREANDA-NEWS. The fifth season of «Rick and Morty» for the first time in the history of the series will end with an hour-long episode, the Telegram channel «KinoPoisk» reports. Episodes of the show usually last about 22 minutes. It also became known that the final episode of the current season will be released a little later than the others — on September 6. Created by screenwriter Dan Harmon and animator Justin Roiland, the series «Rick and Morty» tells about Rick Sanchez — a crazy inventor, a space terrorist, as well as the smartest creature in the animated series universe — and his insecure grandson Morty. The duo travels through time and space, visits other planets, fights monsters and even manages to die several times.

The premiere of the fifth season of the American animated television series «Rick and Morty» took place on June 20 on the Cartoon Network TV channel. The first eight episodes are already available for viewing.
