The book came out just two weeks after the death of the star. The actress who wrote it was in a relationship with Belmondo in the 1980s.

The lawyer of the relatives, Michelle Godest, said that they were shocked by what had happened and considered the act of the former chosen one of the actor indecent. “I will leave Madame Sotto Major face to face with her conscience in her amazing retelling of things. I have always been very close to Jean-Paul and therefore I know the truth, ”said the lawyer.

He also noted that Belmondo's ex-girlfriend met him last year and posted several joint photos on social networks. According to the lawyer, Carlos Sotto Mayor used the artist to remind the media about herself.
