The Bolshoi Theatre will perform in Thailand for the first time in its history

OREANDA-NEWS The Bolshoi Theatre, namely the Bolshoi Ballet Company, will perform in Thailand for the first time from September 13 to 15 and present Tchaikovsky's masterpiece of ballet classics Swan Lake, according to the GABTa website.
The Bolshoi Ballet tour will take place as part of the International Dance and Music Festival, one of the largest and most revered in Southeast Asia. This year, the festival is being held for the 26th time and, having invited the Bolshoi Ballet Company, chose the iconic name "Swan Lake" by Pyotr Tchaikovsky for acquaintance.
The significance of the event – it is called "truly historic" on the festival's website - is also emphasized by the fact that the performance of the Bolshoi Ballet is included in the program of celebrating the 72nd anniversary of King Rama X of Thailand.
Three performances of the ballet Swan Lake will be held in Bangkok on the stage of the main hall of the Center for Arts and Culture. Paying tribute to the Bolshoi Ballet, the Arts Center recalled that it was the Bolshoi Theater that commissioned Tchaikovsky's Swan Lake.
The performances will be accompanied by the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. The conductor is Pavel Klinichev.
The leading soloists of the concert are engaged in the performances. Among them are Alyona Kovaleva, Arina Denisova, Eva Sergeenkova, Artemiy Belyakov, Artem Ovcharenko, Egor Gerashchenko.
