OREANDA-NEWS. The artistic director of the Russian Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, Konstantin Bogomolov, told about the plans for the new season. During a press conference he admitted that he had invited a transgender Natalia Maksimova, a close friend of Renata Litvinova, to play the role of Lyubov Ranevskaya in the performance «The Cherry Orchard».

The unusual «The Cherry Orchard» will be directed by a young director Mikita Ilinchik, who graduated from the directing faculty of GITIS only last year. The premiere of the play is scheduled for 2022.

Natalia Maksimova made a cuming-out on the air of the show of Konstantin Bogomolov's wife Ksenia Sobchak. Maksimova was born in Kazakhstan. Since childhood, she was different from her peers and became a victim of bullying at school. Capable of languages, at the age of 16 she was already making a good living by translating. For five years, Maximova was a personal assistant to the actress and director Renata Litvinova.
