OREANDA-NEWS  Russia has begun developing a new architectural style, Alexey Komov, a member of the Presidium of the Union of Architects of Russia, told RIA Novosti.

"The current time poses to domestic architects the cornerstone question of responsibility for the future of Russian architecture, without which Russia itself cannot exist. The new Russian architecture here and now needs its total manifestation and manifestation. We have started developing an architectural doctrine that will combine the depth of traditions and modern architectural technologies," Komov said.

According to him, pilot projects and results are planned to be implemented in the cities of the new regions.

"It is necessary to show the close connection and continuity of architectural solutions of Russia and new territories. In the history of Russian architecture, there are many examples of how architects created a new visual language of Russia, which is extremely important for the self-representation of the country and society," Komov said.
