Tape Recording of an Unreleased Lennon Song will be Sold at Auction in Denmark
OREANDA-NEWS. A tape recording of an unreleased song by one of the founders of The Beatles John Lennon will be auctioned in Denmark. The record will be sold on September 28, France 24 reports with reference to the auction house Bruun Rassmussen.
It is noted that the song dates back to 1970. That year, Lennon and his wife Yoko Ono were in Denmark. The head of the auction house Alexa Bruun Rasmussen noted: the tape is unique, because it is a 33-minute interview of the musician in an informal setting.
According to Rasmussen, during the conversation with journalists, Lennon also performed a few songs. One of them — Radio Peace — has never been relised before. According to experts, the cost of the lot will be $31-47.5 thousand. The buyer will also receive photos taken during the meeting and a newspaper issue with an interview.
Earlier it was reported that the underpants of basketball legend Michael Jordan were put up for online auction. The lot was put up for auction by the former personal security guard of the athlete Michael Wozniak. In the caption to the lot, it was noted that underwear has signs of «certain use».
