Snowden's Memoirs Will Go on Sale on US Constitution Day
OREANDA-NEWS Macmillan Publishers will release the Personal Record book by former National Security Agency employee Edward Snowden on September 17, 2019. In the manuscript, Snowden "tells the story of his life." The book will be available in 20 countries.
“The man who risked everything to uncover the US government’s system of mass surveillance, for the first time in his life, tells the story of his life, including how he helped build this system and what prompted him to try to destroy it,” reads the book’s description .
Currently there is an option for pre-ordering "Personal files". Snowden on Twitter said that "on US Constitution Day, the result (the disclosure of an international conspiracy - approx. Ed.) Will appear on bookshelves around the world."
In August 2014, Snowden received a three-year residence permit, allowing him to move around Russia and abroad. In January 2017, the residence permit was extended to 2020. At the same time, Snowden said that he does not feel safe in Russia.
