OREANDA-NEWS  The sea in the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory and Crimea will warm up to a comfortable temperature earlier than mid-June. This was reported to TASS by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand.

According to him, the comfortable temperature for the start of the bathing season is 22 degrees above zero. At the moment, the warmest water in the resorts of the south of Russia — 20 degrees — in Sochi, Tuapse and Yalta, said the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center. It is a little colder in Alushta, Gelendzhik and Feodosia — where the water temperature reached 18 degrees. In Yevpatoria, this indicator is 17 degrees, in Anapa — 16 degrees.

"We still have to wait until the middle of the month for the water to warm up," Vilfand said.

Earlier, the head of the prognostic center "Meteo" Alexander Shuvalov allowed the beginning of the bathing season in Moscow not earlier than the second half of June.
