OREANDA-NEWS MTS summed up the results of the 5th season of the Generation M creative-charity project. Among the thousands of works sent to the art competition, experts of the Tretyakov Gallery chose the best paintings that will be included in a special exhibition that opens this fall. The best was the young artist from Alexandrov Artyom Sukhanov. 

The creative task of the competition was to create a work in the style of Vasily Polenov, the master of the lyrical landscape of the Russian school of landscape painting. Contestants were invited to paint their landscape. 20 paintings selected by experts will be exhibited in the gallery simultaneously with the exposition of Vasily Polenov himself. 

The prize was brought to Artyom by a work where he depicted the nature of his native city, he was inspired by old streets and houses. The young artist performed his landscape in watercolor. Artyom has been painting for several years, graduated from art school and dreams of becoming an architect. And the upcoming exhibition in the Tretyakov Gallery for him was a confirmation of his talent.
