OREANDA-NEWS The chess player from Kazakhstan Rinat Dzhumbayev defeated the US vice-world champion Fabiano Caruana at the 2021 FIDE World Cup in Sochi, the Kazakh Chess Federation reported.

Dzhumbayev advanced to the next round of the FIDE World Cup and put in a bag one of the Cup much fancieds from the tournament. The next competitor of the Kazakh chess player will be determined in the match between Sam Shankland from the USA and Alexander Areshchenko from Ukraine.
