OREANDA-NEWS.The Broadway show “Titanic” will be presented for the first time in Russia in English with Russian-language subtitles. Shows will be held from August 27 to September 1 on the stage of the Moscow Youth Palace. 

The authentic scenery will also come from the USA, it will take five trucks to transport them. 

The premiere of the musical "Titanic" by Mauri Yeston took place on Broadway in 1997. Since then, the production has received worldwide recognition and has been awarded five times by the Tony Awards, the American Theater Award, including a prize for best music. The musical is based on real events, it tells the story of the collision of the ship "Titanic" with an iceberg in the waters of the North Atlantic on April 14, 1912. The tragedy claimed the lives of 1,5 thousand passengers and crew members.
