The new film in the universe "Pokémon" managed to overtake the previous leader - the film version of "Warcraft". Recall that the picture of Duncan Jones fell through at the box office in the US, but thanks to her success in Europe and the incredible popularity in China, it managed to earn more than $433 million.

It is curious that the critics' reaction to “Pokémon Detective Pikachu” was quite ambiguous: its rating on Metacritic is only 53 points, it's a little better on Rotten Tomatoes - on this aggregator the film was recognized as “fresh”, thanks to a 67% rating. At the same time, ordinary viewers rated the film higher - the user rating of "Pokémon Detective Pikachu" on Rotten Tomatoes is 81%.
