OREANDA-NEWS. The picture of the Mexican artist Frida Kahlo "Portrait of a Woman in White" was sold at Christie's auction in New York for $ 5.8 million, according to the website of the auction house. This painting, painted around 1929, was presented by Frida Calo to the photographer Lola Alvarez Bravo. Since then, she has been in private collections.
