OREANDA-NEWS The FX channel launches "The Old Man" crime series, which will be starring by Jeff Bridges. The showranners and screenwriters of the show will be Jonathan I. Steinberg and Robert Levine, the authors of the pirate drama Black Sails. 

"The Old Man" will be based on the eponymous bestseller by Thomas Perry. The plot tells about the former CIA agent Dan Chase (Bridges), who has long been retired in solitude and wants to be left alone. One day an unknown assassin makes an attempted murder on him. Miraculously, the surviving Chase will have to stir his past and find out the reason why he was tried to kill.
