OREANDA-NEWS. In Liechtenstein for the first time there will take place the exhibition of works of the national artist of the USSR, the president of the Russian Academy of Arts Zurab Tsereteli. It is dated for the 85 anniversary of the master.

Pictorial works and drawings whose plots are based on traditions, folklore, myths and religious motives will be presented to expositions. The different sides of the identity of the artist both hidden from eyes and public, show the depth in the seeming simplicity. Zurab Tsereteli, the president of the Russian Academy of Arts, is one of the largest modern artists.

He received a set of awards, was entitled the goodwill ambassador of UNESCO and a knightly award of the Honourable legion (France). Recently he was also awarded with the Order of Friendship of "Dostlug" from the president of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Opening will take place on June 26, 2019.
