OREANDA-NEWS  The Ministry of Figures, the Ministry of Labor and Rosmolodezh supported the idea of developing a Russian analogue of the Sims computer game, follows from the response of the departments to the corresponding deputy appeal.

Earlier in September, State Duma deputies Yana Lantratova, Nina Ostanina, Yaroslav Nilov and Ekaterina Stenyakina sent an appeal to the Russian government with a request to develop a Russian version of a Sims-like life simulator game with traditional Russian values.

"The Ministry of Labor of Russia considers it possible to support the idea of developing a video game in the genre of "life simulator". Rosmolodezh also supports this idea… Taking into account the above, the Ministry of Finance of Russia considers it expedient to return to the discussion of the issue of creating a domestic video game in the genre of "life simulator" at the meeting of the Central Committee (development Competence Center - ed.) "Game Services" upon receipt of additional materials on the game project prepared by the initiative group of Russian video game developers, as well as on possible measures to support this project", - stated in the response of the Ministry of Finance.
