Director of the Bond Film Came to Ukraine to Work as a Volunteer
OREANDA-NEWS American director Cary Fukunaga, known for the TV series True Detective and the latest film from the James Bond franchise It's Not Time to Die, joined the team of the World Central Kitchen Charity Association to work as a volunteer in Ukraine. The cinematographer told about this on his personal page on the social network Instagram (recognized in Russia as extremist and banned).
World Central Kitchen is engaged in humanitarian assistance to victims amid a special operation of Russia on the territory of Ukraine. As Fukunaga says in social networks, at the moment he delivers food to the needy in Ukraine together with chef Jose Anders. Also on Instagram, he talks about people he met in Irpen, Lviv, Kiev and other cities of the country and volunteers helping them.
According to the director, recently the team of the charity project together with Jose Anderson came to Bucha, where they delivered 6 thousand kg of food and 600 hot lunches. Earlier, American actor Sean Penn arrived in Ukraine to shoot a documentary about the special operation. As part of the work on the project, he met with President Vladimir Zelensky on February 25.
