OREANDA-NEWS. The famous French artist Albert Uderzo, one of the authors of the comic book about the adventures of Asterix, died at the age of 92. About this with reference to his relatives reports the French television channel.

“Albert Uderzo died in a dream at his home in Neuilly from a heart attack unrelated to coronavirus. He was very sick over the past few weeks”, the edition quotes the son-in-law of the artist Bernard de Choisy. Uderzo was born in April 1927.

The comic book that brought him fame was created together with the writer Rene Gossini, the first publication of the story of Asterix took place in the journal Pilote on October 29, 1959.
