The movie star believes, that it is necessary to bring back the death penalty. «I don't want to pay for the maniac, who killed, for example, in the Bitsevsky forest. It is better to direct money to pensioners, and not to the maintenance of criminals», said actor.

He suggested, that judicial errors should be considered as a statistical discrepancy. In addition, Okhlobystin touched on the topic of the burial of the communist leader Vladimir Lenin. He believes, that the revolutionary should be buried.

It should be noted, that in Russia the salary of working convicts often falls short of $52 (about 4,000 rubles) per month. Up to 75% of this amount is withheld by the Federal Penitentiary Service, and the prisoner usually remains about $13 a month. In 2019, it was planned to reduce the amount of prison's food costs from 86 rubles a day to 64.
