OREANDA-NEWS. The organizer of Grammy Music Awards named the nominees for the 62nd ceremony.

The Record of the Year nomination includes Lizzo with the song Truth Hurts, Billie Eilish with Bad Guy, Ariana Grande with 7 Rings, Lil Nas X with Old Town Road, Bon Iver with Hey, Ma, H.E.R. with Hard Place, Khalid with Talk, and Post Malone & Swae Lee with Sunflower.

The nominees for Best New Artist are Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X, Black Pumas, Maggie Rogers, Rosalia, Tank and the Bangas, Yola.

The Song of the Year award will be won by one of the following: Lady Gaga (Always Remember Us This Way), Tanya Tucker (Bring My Flowers Now), H.E.R. (Hard Place), Taylor Swift (Lover), Lana Del Rey (Norman F***ing Rockwell), Lewis Capaldi (Someone You Loved), Lizzo (Truth Hurts), Billie Eilish (Bad Guy).

Bon Iver, Lana Del Rey, Ariana Grande, H.E.R, Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Vampire Weekend and Billy Eilish claim for Grammys for the Album of the Year.

The record holder of the nominations this year is Lizzo, who has eight of them. She is followed by Billy Eilish and Lil Nas with seven nominations. Ariana Grande with six nominations is close to the top three.

Grammy Award 2019 is presented in 84 categories in various genres and styles. Both popular and classical music are among the nominations. The 62nd award ceremony will be held on January 26, 2020 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles (California, USA). American singer Alicia Keys will host the ceremony, as she did last year. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBS channel.
