OREANDA-NEWS. Volodymyr Zelenskyy named those responsible for Ukraine's loss of Donbass and Crimea. According to the president of the country, responsibility lies with his predecessor Petro Poroshenko and acting President as of 2014 - Alexandra Turchinov.

"Mr. Turchynov is seen as one of those people who lost Crimea. And Mr. Poroshenko is one of those who lost Donbass. That's all. This is my opinion and, I am sure, the opinion of the majority of Ukrainians," Zelensky said.

According to Zelensky, he is not fighting for power, but is fighting for Ukraine and wants to resolve the Donbas issue.

"I will not fight for power, I am fighting for Ukraine, no matter how pathetic it may sound. I am fighting for some important things that are important for me to do. Why was it important for me to build roads or end the war? I really want this ", - he said.

"I consider it inappropriate to lose such a powerful person just because Petro Poroshenko does not like him," Zelensky said.
