At the same time, the press secretary of the head of state did not say whether Putin himself plans to comment on Biden's words.

The US President said earlier that Putin "will be held accountable for meddling in the elections." The media also claim that Biden, in a conversation with an ABC journalist, called his Russian colleague a "killer", but it is not clear whether he really meant this. White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki declined to clarify whether Biden's words about Putin were a metaphor.

The Foreign Ministry interpreted these words as a manifestation of the purposeful policy of Washington, which "for two years deliberately led" Russian-American cooperation to a dead end.
