OREANDA-NEWS The Chinese company Huawei has filed the application for registration of a new trademark in the European Patent Office. The trademark has resieve a 'Harmony' name.

The name Harmony will be a possible option for the name of the new OS from Huawei. The most likely name for the new OS is HongMeng, which was registered this year in several patent offices in different countries. Also for this role claims the name of Ark.

Experts suggest that under the new name Harmony the system will be used directly on smartphones. And the operating system for other devices will retain the working title - HongMeng. It is noted that different names will be used for China and the rest of the world. According to preliminary data, the OS will be available this fall and is currently being tested on millions of test devices. Details about the Huawei new system are unknown yet.
