OREANDA-NEWS. Artist Mikhail Shemyakin and the Soyuzmultfilm film studio plan to begin work on a cycle of animated films for children about the Russian language.  The project discussion on Tuesday was held at the Ministry of Culture.

 We are talking about short animated films that will tell little viewers about the disappearing words of the Russian language.  It is planned that the shows will be held daily in one of the children's TV shows.

 “The first topic we discussed was Russian, which disappears by leaps and bounds. For many years I have been studying Russian dialects with the Institute of Linguistics and Dialectics. This is an attempt to update the idea of ​​Alexander Solzhenitsyn, who made the first dictionary of forgotten Russian words -  these are words that, as he believed, can be resurrected again, "said Shemyakin, quoted by the press service, at the end of a working meeting with the head of the ministry Vladimir Medinsky.
