Sberbank expects more than 66 billion rubles in additional revenue in 2020 from the introduction of artificial intelligence technology in a credit institution, follows from the materials for Analyst's Day. In 2019, the effect of the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the bank amounted to about 42 billion rubles.

At the same time, Sberbank intends to become the leader of the Russian market for this technology, follows from the presentation. According to the bank, in 2024 the AI ​​market in Russia will amount to 80 billion rubles.

In early November, Sberbank, Gazprom Neft, Yandex, Mail.ru Group, MTS and the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) announced the creation of an alliance in the field of artificial intelligence (AI-Russia Alliance). The Alliance will organize and conduct scientific and expert analysis in this area, organize international cooperation, analyze industry-specific problems of implementing AI technologies and discuss possible solutions to them, and assist in organizing in the Russian Federation the infrastructure necessary for the creation, testing, implementation and use of technologies AI in all sectors of the economy.
