OREANDA-NEWS  By the end of 2023, the demand for solutions to protect the perimeter of organizations from cyber attacks through IT contractors has increased in the information security market, and it has increased by 120% in a number of product classes. This is due to the increased hacking of organizations through the systems of third-party development companies or partners with access to the infrastructure. However, in 2024, experts believe that the main driver of the market will be regulatory requirements for import substitution, and not threats from intruders. Analysts expect continued growth at the level of 10-24.5%.

Russian companies increased purchases of information security solutions and services in 2023, according to profile developers and IT integrators interviewed by Kommersant. Thus, according to F.A.C.C.T. (formerly Group IB), sales of complex products for protection against targeted attacks through remote access services, contractor infrastructure and malicious email services showed a significant increase — demand for such solutions increased by 25%. At the same time, it increased by 80% for e—mail protection tools, and by 120% for the "corporate perimeter" (for example, vulnerability scanners).
