OREANDA-NEWS On Friday, April 22, Russia blocked the official website of the computer game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the sequel of the world-famous series S.T.A.L.K.E.R. As Russian media Roskomsvoboda found out during the monitoring of the register of prohibited sites. The initiator was the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation, April 18 of the current year. On the April 22nd its demand was fulfilled.

Obviously, the reason for the ban was an appeal posted on the website to fans and subscribers condemning the conduct of a military special operation to denazify Ukraine. The text of the appeal also contains a request to provide assistance to Ukraine, but at the same time the owners of the site remind that Russians and Belarusians may be persecuted by the authorities of their countries for this.

Since February 24 of this year many sites of major media, public organizations, commercial companies, including IT, have been included in the register of banned. According to the calculations of the media, at the moment the number of blocked resources has exceeded 2500.
