OREANDA-NEWS. Russian special services have nothing to do with the appearance in some media of publications criticizing Western vaccines against COVID-19, said the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov.
"This is nonsense. The Russian special services have nothing to do with criticism of vaccines," he told The Wall Street Journal.
"If we considered every publication criticizing Sputnik V as a result of the work of the American special services, we would go crazy: after all, we see such publications in all Anglo-Saxon media every day, every hour," Peskov added.
The newspaper article claims that a US State Department official working in a structure that tracks disinformation attempts reported the discovery of several publications that aroused Washington's suspicions criticizing Western vaccines. According to a State Department official, the Russian special services are allegedly behind these publications. We are talking about portals designed for foreign readers. Their attendance is insignificant, the newspaper states.
