OREANDA-NEWS. US President Joe Biden made another reservation at an event at the White House dedicated to the end of Ramadan, the holy month for Muslims, according to the New York Post. Biden stated that he is "the first senator from Delaware" when he wanted to say "the first president" instead.

"There were few senators from Delaware. This is a small state. As a matter of fact, they never existed,” the head of state said.

The president, who moved to Delaware as a child, served as a state senator for 36 years. During the speech, he was going to introduce Madina Wilson-Anton, an American Muslim who works at the Biden Institute at the University of Delaware.

This is not the first embarrassing situation that the president finds himself in. So, on April 22, Biden made a slip of the tongue while trying to pronounce the name of Rep. Earl Blumenauer. At the same time, the president said that mistakes can also be made in his name.

On April 13, during a speech by Biden in Iowa, a bird defecated on him. The American leader came under bird "fire" at the moment when he began to accuse Russia of rising prices in the United States. According to him, the rise in inflation in the country in March was 70% provoked by the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
