OREANDA-NEWS  The American corporation Microsoft does not plan to liquidate its legal entities in Russia, as evidenced by their accounting statements for 2023, writes TASS.

References to this were found in the documentation of three of the four local legal entities of the corporation. Experts noted that similar decisions on them were made by the end of 2022, after the suspension of sales of new products. Microsoft has also decided to block existing cloud solutions in Russia.

The journalists noted that Microsoft, at least, does not plan to liquidate the main legal entity Microsoft Rus, as well as Microsoft Development Center Rus and Microsoft Payments Rus. They concluded that the corporation still does not want to formally curtail its activities in Russia.

Earlier, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin accused the American company Microsoft of supporting Kiev and acting to the detriment of the Russian Federation. He drew attention to the fact that the company "has stained itself not only with anti-Russian rhetoric, but also with concrete steps to the detriment of our state."

In March 2022, it became known that the company was ceasing sales of its goods and services on the Russian market due to the situation in Ukraine.
