Kiselev Called Curses "Spices" in the Language
OREANDA-NEWS. Swearing in speech should be used as a “spice”; it is an invaluable linguistic resource of Russian culture, says Dmitry Kiselev, general director of the Russia Today MIA and founder of the Rap Koktebel festival.
At a press conference on the opening of the festival, Kiselev noted that Rap Koktebel is not subject to the restrictions of Roskomnadzor "to ban those very four words in the press," this "site is not regulated."
According to Kiselyov, obscene remarks are suitable only for special cases, and therefore you should not use them in speech constantly, since otherwise he will lose his strength.
“If we talk about my inner attitude, I never hid it and even expressed it directly on the air: I believe that curses are an invaluable linguistic resource in our culture, just precious. But that’s precisely why you should not devalue it, and you need to use it like spices in special, critical situations, ”Kiselev said.
