OREANDA-NEWS. The Ukrainian leadership pumps mercenaries with drugs to maintain their morale, said the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel. He also said that Chechen detachments began to liquidate mercenary groups in the LPR, including "Chkerian, Georgian and other battalions of criminals."

The head of Chechnya previously reported that during a special operation in Ukraine, the search for "Chechen-speaking shaitans" continues. He also noted that the Chechen security forces, together with other units of the armed forces of Russia and the LPR, are carrying out sweeps in the city of Popasnaya of the Lugansk People's Republic from "the surviving Bandera rabble, Nazis and shaitans."

Kadyrov also noted that more than a thousand marines of the Armed Forces of Ukraine surrendered in Mariupol. He added that at present only separate small groups of Ukrainian fighters continue to resist.
