Google: Russian hackers attacked NATO
OREANDA-NEWS The Google report says that hackers allegedly based in Russia tried to attack the military authorities of several Eastern European countries and the NATO center of excellence. According to the company, it is all about Coldriver, a Russian–based group of hackers, also known as Calisto, engaged in phishing mailings.
«These campaigns were attacked using Gmail accounts created and accounts not owned by Google, so the level of success of these campaigns is unknown», the company stressed. However, the Threat Analysis Team noted that no compromised Gmail account was detected by them during the cyberattacks.
