OREANDA-NEWS. Former journalists of the VTimes publication (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of foreign media performing the functions of a foreign agent) announced the launch of a new media called VPost. They reported this in Telegram.
It is noted that the materials of the publication will be primarily devoted to the topic of finance. "What does VPost write about? First of all, about money. In the simplest sense - about the money that we directly dispose of. Then, of course, about the money that the state collects from us and disposes of on our behalf," the journalists promised.
Now there are 10 people in the VPost team, including three editors, but, according to the assurances of the publication, the number of employees will increase in the near future. VPost representatives added that they plan to submit documents for media registration. So far, the project works only in social networks, but soon it will have a website.
The VTimes edition was launched in the summer of 2020 by former Vedomosti journalists. In mid-May 2021, the Ministry of Justice included the publication in the register of foreign mass media performing the functions of a foreign agent. In early June, the publication announced its closure, but soon promised to return.
