According to the ZOE COVID Symptom Study, the world's largest COVID-19 study and symptom tracking app, vaccinated people initially show infection through frequent sneezing. At the same time, in the unvaccinated, it is not considered a sign of a coronavirus, but rather a cold or allergy.

The researchers added: "While many people with COVID-19 can sneeze, it is not a 100% symptom. It is quite common, especially during the warmer months."

According to scientists, people who have been vaccinated and subsequently infected with coronavirus, even in a mild form, are called sneezing as one of the signs of the disease. This symptom is not among the twenty most common, among which are high fever, loss of taste and / or smell, fatigue, headache, diarrhea, runny nose, shortness of breath and persistent cough.

"If you got vaccinated and started sneezing a lot for no reason, you need to stay home and get tested for COVID-19, especially if you live or work with people who are at high risk of infection," the study authors concluded.

Earlier, scientists, including Russian, declared the danger of the Indian strain SARS-CoV-2, including for the vaccinated: this variant of the virus has two key mutations in the receptor-binding domain, which approximately two to three times reduce the immune protection in vaccinated and recovered.
