The latest version is easier to use and features strengthened security for sensitive information. The application is now also available on iOS.

The solution, now compatible with iOS, has taken mobile usage into account. Smartphone users unlock their phones an average of 80 times per day. To spare them from having to continually retype their passwords, a biometric authentication feature has been added to the application. Furthermore, to encourage users of Android devices to protect their data and raise their awareness of the issue, a tutorial on how to use the application is now available.

Strengthened Security

In order to ensure absolute confidentiality on mobile connections, Stormshield has increased the security of Stormshield Data Security for Cloud & Mobility by integrating a geolocalization feature in accordance with security advice published by ANSSI, the French government agency in charge of information systems security. Automatic blocking can be set up based on the risk associated with the country in which the user is located, thereby protecting confidential documents from being opened by unauthorized users. Rules pertaining to automatic blocking are set by the administrator and therefore depend on the organization using the application. This feature allows businesses to comply with European personal data protection laws.
