OREANDA-NEWS. May 24, 2016. The Minister of Information Technology and Communications Vasile Botnari had a meeting with Jim Yong Lu, the President of Huawei on Central East Europe and Nordic Region, who paying a working visit to the Republic of Moldova.

The main topics of discussion were: the prospects of broadening the cooperation with the Chinese company Huawei, in the context of implementation of the National Strategy Digital Moldova 2020 and the Strategy for IT industry Competitiveness.

Vasile Botnari highly commended the Huawei opening to accomplish new projects in the IT sector of Moldova, which gains an important ground in the national economy.

Established in 1988, Huawei has its headquarters in Shenzhen, China, and offers products and solutions for over 300 telecommunications operators.
