Verizon pumps up prepaid plans with more data
OREANDA-NEWS. May 13, 2016. Cellular service provider Verizon said Thursday it will add bigger data buckets to its prepaid plans. Specifically the carrier has upped its \\$60 monthly subscription for smartphones to include 6GB through Autopay.
Consider those additional gigabytes of data an incentive for prepaid customers to turn on automatic payments. If you choose not to use automatic payments, then you'll have a smaller allotment of 5GB of data per month.
Verizon will offer other less expensive options. For example, \\$45 per month will net you 3GB with Autopay (or 2GB without it), while \\$30 a month features Wi-Fi only.
