OREANDA-NEWS. President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky said that Kiev will analyze the state of the three ships of the Ukrainian Navy transferred by Russia and will appeal to the Russian Federation with a call to return all the missing elements of their equipment. About it, as reported on Thursday by the Ukrainian News Agency, the head of state said after examining the returning ships in the port of Ochakovo (Nikolaev region).
"The ships are partially lacking equipment. We talked with the admiral and I can’t say some things, but some of the weapons are missing. I saw the condition, there will be an investigation. We will definitely turn to the Russian side to return everything that was there", the agency quotes the words Zelensky. The President also noted that the ships will be repaired for about three months. Then they will be returned to service again.
The transfer of three ships to the Ukrainian side took place on Monday in the neutral waters of the Black Sea, 30 km from Cape Takil. On the same day, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that Kiev did not intend to refuse to participate in the UN international tribunal against the Russian Federation, despite the return of the detained ships and the earlier release of 24 Ukrainian sailors.
