The United States will need to stop pursuing its destructive policy in order to improve relations with Russia, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing, RIA Novosti reports. Earlier, she noted that NATO countries are deliberately delaying the active phase of the special operation that Russia launched on the territory of Ukraine.

The main condition for the normalization of diplomatic relations with Washington is the US ending its destructive policy both towards our country and, I would like, in principle and in general, she said, answering the relevant question.

Zakharova also stated that the US combat helicopters, which were delivered to Ukraine, could be used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to strike at the territory of Russia.

On April 13, the United States announced another $800 million military aid package, according to which Kyiv will receive dozens of howitzers, thousands of artillery shells, hundreds of armored personnel carriers, Russian-made Mi-17 helicopters, of which, according to Zakharova, “the territories of the LPR and DPR will be shelled, and maybe the territory of Russia.
