OREANDA-NEWS Due to wildfires, the emergency situation is already operating in four regions. This is the Irkutsk Region, the Krasnoyarsk district, in several districts of Yakutia and Buryatia. The forest fire services managed to extinguish more than 30 fires in a day, but the situation is still difficult.

Over 160 thousand hectares of forest are in the fire. The territory is patrolled by almost fifty aircraft and helicopters.

In addition, more than 40 regions introduced a special fire regime. This means that for the population there are different strict rules. For the kindling of brushwood and grass or for raising fires in the forest residents will have to pay a large fine.
